The rules must be followed at all times: failure to do so will result in a warning, and if there is continual breaking of the rules, a ban. Generally speaking, most of the rules should be common sense and therefore won’t be particularly detailed. If you have any questions, please PM a member of staff.

- You cannot post in character until you have been accepted. This includes threads, plots, face claims and sign-ups.
- Do not constantly ask the staff to review your application; they will do so when they get the chance. Constant badgering will mean that it will take longer to review your application. Similarly, do not ask to be made a staff member. Those who ask will not be promoted.
- Only one character per account. There is no limit on the number of characters you may have, but please make sure you can keep up with all of them. Please note that you may not play two canon characters who will interact a lot. The account display name must be the character's full name, or their doll codename, e.g. "Whiskey" or "Topher Brink".
- Members are considered inactive if they have not posted in character for two months. At this stage, their applications will be moved into the archives and canon characters will revert to being available on the canon list. The only exception to this is if you have left a message explaining a lengthy departure/have PMed an admin. You may rejoin at any time: please PM a staff member and they will move your application back to the registration area.
- Face claims are done on a first come, first served basis. Canon actors are reserved for canon characters. Please use a real (famous) person; anime/cartoon faces will not be accepted, nor will the use of your own or a friend’s face.
- Signatures may be a maximum of 500 pixels (width) by 350 pixels (height). Any wider than this stretches the board. If your signature exceeds this limit the staff have the right to ask you to reduce its size. Avatars may be a maximum of 100 pixels by 100 pixels.
- Spam, flaming and harassment are not tolerated. Anyone doing any of these things will be banned.
- Plagiarism is not accepted. Everything on this site took a long time to make/write, and we will find you if you steal it. Plagiarisers will be both reported as a Proboards TOS violator and banned.
- Everything on the site must be rated PG-13 (12). This is due to Proboards’ Terms of Service.

- All posts must be ten (10) sentences or more, unless it is a diary entry, email or instant message. This restriction also applies for the application form.
- All posts must be posted in the third person, excluding diaries, emails and instant messages.
- Please use proper spelling and grammar: Proboards has an integrated spell checker for your convenience, as do many internet browsers.
- God-moding and Mary-Sue characters are not accepted. If you need guidance as to what constitutes god-moding/Mary-Sues, please PM a staff member.
- Everything you write must be your own work; plagiarism is not tolerated. Please see above.
