Heaven Is Overrated

Heaven Is Overrated is set in an AU Eclipse. Bella Swan has just broken her
engagement to Edward Cullen in hopes of protecting him and his family. The
threat of Victoria looms ever closer to the vampire family and Bella thinks that
in leaving Edward, Victoria will give up. Victoria will not be discouraged so
easily, however, and has begun building an army in Seattle. Bella has been
staying in La Push in an effort to suppress Alice's visions of Bella's decisions.

However, the more time Jacob Black spends with Bella, the less thrilled the La
Push shifters are with the situation. Sam Uley believes Bella is going to leave
Jacob any minute for Edward, but Jacob only gives Sam the cold shoulder in
reply. The shifters have their own problems hovering over the horizon. An
underground pack of werewolves have been hiding to the north in Canada for
nearly two decades. The leader believes the La Push shifters are planning to
take his territory and has convinced his pack they need to get rid of the threat.

On the other side of the world, the Volturi are keeping an eye on Forks. They
were promised that Bella would be turned into a vampire soon and now that the
engagement between Bella and Edward has been broken, they grow uneasy.
Caius has also caught wind of the lycan pack that has come out of the wood
works. He is planning an attack on the wolves to take place when the Volturi
plan to visit the Cullens to straighten out the Bella situation.
